Donna R. Honzel is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District (Federal Court). Ms. Honzel has tried jury cases in both state and federal courts for over 15 years.
The majority of Ms. Honzel’s practice is focused on the representation of insurance companies and self-insureds in the defense of complex litigation in both state and federal courts throughout Northern Illinois. Her experience in handling personal injury actions include: trials in state and federal court involving automobile accidents, construction law, Dram Shop, premises liability, Structural Work Act and wrongful death. She also has experience in litigating coverage issues.
Ms. Honzel is a member of the Trial Bar of the Federal District Court of the Northern District of Illinois and holds membership in the American, Illinois State and Winnebago County Bar Associations as well as in the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. She also serves as an approved Arbitrator for the 17th Judicial Circuit.
Ms. Honzel maintains involvement in a variety of community organizations, including serving on the Rockford Dance Company Board of Directors in capacities of President, Vice President and Secretary. |
